He was predeceased by: his father Jacob Schwalm; his wife Patricia Kelly; his son Randy; his great grandchild Nora; and his siblings, June Jensen, Eleanor Newman, Frieda Ricica and Basil Schwalm.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Langley of Cass City and Pamela Christner of Caseville; his grandchildren, Jason Christner, Christopher Langley (Amber Logan), Matthew Langley (Amanda), Jamie Stefan, Rebecca Putnam (Buddy) and Kayla Christner (Randy Sherman); and his great grandchildren, McKenna, Mariah Christner, Brandon Ryan, Colin Lesperance, Ashton Langley, Aubrey, Mikenna Stefan, Madalynn, Brantley, Aleeya Putnam, Brady, Brielle Christner, Grayson and Olivia Langley.
