Essenmacher and Judith Peterson; his daughter Barbara Siegrist (David) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Daniel Wilson, Hope Bos, Karen Siegrist and Janine LaVoy (Ken); his great grandchildren, Emma, Isaac, Luke, Anthony, Matthew and Jacelyn; his siblings, Gary Busch (Joanne), David Busch (Debra), Clara Polson (Richard), Audrey Schubring (Del) and Janice Fowler (Kevin); his sister-in-law Doreen Busch; his stepsons, Jeff Peterson (Mary Ann) and Garth Peterson; his stepgrandchildren, Joe, Andy, Grant and Sarah; and his son Gregory.
