He was predeceased by: his father Cyril McIlhargie; and his siblings, Riley Thiel, Frances Armbruster, Richard, Leo, Frank, Janice and Aloysious McIlhargie.
He is survived by: his children, Travis of Cass City and Brenna Haley (David) of Gagetown; his grandchildren, Ayla, Emmet, Allen and Eamon; his siblings, Mabel Lenda of Cass City, Marlene Schram (Guy) of Montana, Linda McIlhargie of New Mexico, Bradley McIlhargie (Diane) of Kinde and Gloria Cobb (Dave) of Suttons Bay; and the mother of his children Terrill Machowicz of Elkton.
