It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Beatrice Gilbert of Caseville, Michigan, born in Owendale, Michigan, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Block and Margaret Block (Neidrich); her husband Bruce Gilbert; and her sisters, Ethel Craig and Esther Bedford.

She is survived by: her children, Connie DeSimpelare (Tom) of Columbiaville, Donna Murawski (Ken) of Port Austin, Gary of Caseville and Joyce O'Connell (Erik) of Davison; her grandchildren, Becca Sawade (Matt), Rachel Francis (Ryan), Josh DeSimpelare, Jessica, Jason Murawski, Paige and Allie O'Connell; her great grandchildren, Adelynn, Everly and Elsie; her brother Alfred "Jim" Block; and her siblings-in-law, Glenn Craig, Robert Bedford and Nancy Chappel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Bad Axe Free Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
