He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Beattie (Summerville) and Charles Beattie; his daughter Cheryl; his siblings, Richard and Joyce; and his siblings-in-law, John Lomerson and Doris Thueme.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Christa and Mark (Paula); his grandchildren, Ashley and Robert; his sister Linda Quirk (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Karen Hanson (Darrell), Betty Beattie, Elmer Lomerson (Dorothy) and Al Westrick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
