“What a kindred spirit Shirley was to me! I just loved her and sharing the last few years of her journey was precious! Shirley was a wonderful conversationalist and I loved her stories and tidbits of wisdom. She always walked fast and when we took walks together at the facility she was always in the lead and left most of the group behind! Shirley struggled with moving into Stonegate, but it wasn’t long and she had created a lovely spot! I loved her deeply! Kate Meyers”
