It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leola M. Rickett of Carsonville, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Squires and Thelma Squires (Sadler); her husband Albert E. Rickett; her son Thomas Rickett; her great grandchild Austin Pitts; and her brothers, Henry "Hank" Squires and Alton Squires.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Rickett (Pat) of Interlochen, Peggy Sherman (Tom) of Carsonville and Lori Paape (Ron) of Sandusky; her daughter-in-law Vickie Rickett of Sandusky; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Squires of Carsonville and Betty Rickett of Lapeer. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren.
Memorials in memory of Leola may be made to the Carsonville United Methodist Church.
