She was predeceased by: her parents, George Essenmacher and Agnes Essenmacher (Koss); her daughter Alice Dobrinski; her granddaughter Veronica; her great grandchild Avery; her son-in-law Michael P Scott; and her siblings, George Essenmacher and Mary.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon B. Messing; her children, Randolph J. (Jill), David M., Barbara J. Koenig (Richard), Donna M. Joseph, Kathryn A. Bitzer (Neil), Laura A. Scott and Sarah E. Messing; and her siblings, John, James, Bruce, Steve Essenmacher, Virginia Booms, Janet Lemanski and Shirley Essenmacher. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
