He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McCarty and Myrtle McCarty (Clifton); and his siblings, Harold McCarty Jr., Eleanor Miller, Mildred Broeckaert and Jean Marski.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his sons, Jerry McCarty of Forester, Dennis McCarty (Dora) of Croswell and Ken McCarty (Julie) of Forester; his sister Beatrice Liput of Pt; and his siblings-in-law, Erdeen Essenmacher of Sandusky and Orland Kilbourn (Shirley) of Snover. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
