He is survived by: his wife Barbara K. Staszkiewicz; his children, Charles K. Ashwell II, Joel Porter (Kay), Thomas Ashwell, Paul Ashwell, Dawn Copp (Marty) and Laurie Gonzalez; and his sisters, Jeanne Sehnert and Linda Winslow (Doug). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
