It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zelma Irene Seiler (Carson City, Michigan), who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Short and Martha Short (Wyse); and her husband Verle Seiler. She is survived by: her children, Martha Seiler of Carson City, Edward Seiler of Carson City, Geneva Delong of Ithaca and Steve Seiler (Melissa) of Shepherd, Michigan.; and her grandchildren, Dakota of Ithaca, Michigan., Cheyenne of Ithaca, Michigan., Rachelle of Ithaca, Michigan. and Dalton Delong of Ithaca, Michigan..
According to Zelma's wishes and COVID-19 precautions, a private graveside service and interment will be held at Hayes Road Cemetery in Gratiot County, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for any donations be made to Maple View Assisted Living 4396 S. Luce Rd., Ithaca, Michigan 48847.
