We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2021, at the age of 61, William R. McCallister II of Carson City, Michigan, born in Findlay, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William; and his sister Tamela McCallister-Decker. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Barbara Dakin; his children, Raymond McCallister (Jessica), Marie McAlvey (Craig) and Shawn McAlvey (Josh); his stepsons, Jon Tomlinson (Herb Lewis) and Tony Tomlinson (Candace McCoy); his grandchildren, Miles, Asher, Addileigh, Avi, Meredith, Jasper, Agnes and Francis; his mother Kay McCallister Schafer (Larry); the mother of his children Janice McCallister; his nephews, Matthew and Joshua Decker; and his niece Hannah Decker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dr. William R. McCallister Scholarship Fund at the Fellowship Baptist Academy at the First Baptist Church in Carson City, MI or the Van Andel Institute.
