He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick VanDerBos and Betty VanDerBos (Baldwin); his siblings, Brian VanDerBos, Barry VanDerBos and Dawn Butler; and his granddaughter Laura VanDerBos.
He is survived by: his sons, Joe VanDerBos (David Zapanta), Eric VanDerBos (Lynn Coscarelli) and Chad VanDerBos; his grandchildren, Owen VanDerBos and Soren VanDerBos; and his stepsister Julie Shoemaker.
