She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Cooper and Louise Cooper (Rhynard); her husband Herbert Dale Smith; her daughter-in-law Brenda Smith; and her siblings, Jean Richards (Martin), Dennis Cooper and Janet Abbott.
She is survived by: her children, Dave (Karen), Gregg (Torey), Brian and Jackie Smith; her grandchildren, Kristine Smith, Jeremie Smith (Mindi), Denise Potter (Sean), Holly Akin (Jereme), Stephany Anderson (Jeremy) and Nicole Cashen (Kyle); her brother Dee Cooper (Bonnie); and her brother-in-law Richard Abbott. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
