Betty Jean Davis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Davis of Carson City, Michigan, born in Crystal, Michigan, who passed away on January 12, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Bernard and Verscil Bernice Jarstfer (Parrish); her stepfather Alva Hevel; her brother Leroy Jarstfer; her son Roy Gene Davis; and her granddaughter Kimberly Ann Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Lynch (Bob) of Mountain Home, ID, Lawrence "Larry" Davis (Shelia) of New Bern, NC, Susan Davis (Norman) of Sheridan, MI, Lynell Wdovech (Mike) of Bolingbrook, IL and Bruce Davis (Nanette) of Kalamazoo, MI.; her grandchildren, Crystal Lynch, Robbie Lynch, Trisha Lovett (Josh), Megan Davis (Nate Otte), Emily Powell (Chris), Jim Wdovech (Devon) and Tom Wdovech (Alicia Raisor); and her stepgrandchildren, Logan Davis (Lisa), Leyscha Davis (Robert) and Brockk Davis (Marcy). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In concern of current COVID conditions, a private funeral service for immediate family will be held at First Congregational Church, Carson City, MI, at 10:00 A. M. on Friday, January 21, 2022, with Pastor Steve Adamson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, Carson City, MI.

Sue Lowe wrote a sympathy message

“Thinking of all of your family. Iheard about your mom’s passing today. I am very sad that I missed her visitation. She was a very sweet and gentle lady. I was in several sewing classes with her at Seven Sisters. She did beautiful quilts. We had lots of laughs while sewing, too. She will be missed. I am very sorry. Love , Sue Lowe”
