John Cowell Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cowell Sr. of Carp Lake, Michigan, born in Pickford, Michigan, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fuller Cowell and Martha Cowell (Johnson); and his wife Ardis Russell. He is survived by: his children, John Cowell (Tammy), Darlene Ericks (Gary) of Mackinaw City, Bonita Chesner (Chuck) of Levering, Jimmy Dean Cowell of Carp Lake and Donald Cowell (Midget) of Harbor Springs; and his sisters, Almeda Bodwin of Cheboygan and Lorma Kolatski of Mackinac Island. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
