He was predeceased by: his parents, David Bader and Evelyn Bader (Bacon); his niece Veronica Kish; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Roth and Gary Owen.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie S. Ryckman; his children, Kerry Bader (Susan), Dominic Bader (Crystal), Robert Bader (Amber), Larry Bader (Cindi), Patricia Coslick (Bob), Susan Clark, Holly Miller (Jeff) and Russell Bader (Lori); his grandchildren, Meghan, Zakkary (Maddie), Ava, Gabriel, Jordan, Colton, Madison, Larry, Daniel (Amber), Timothy, Tiffany, Mike, Ashley (Todd), Laura, Ryan (Angela), Kyle, Nikkoli and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Aubrey, Landon, Seth, Cole and Roxy; his siblings, Doris Sainz (Gilbert), Dana Roth and Carol Owen; and his uncle George Bader. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
