She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert B. Messing and Catherine A. Messing (Peruski); her husband Richard Rutkowski of Anthony's Church; her daughter-in-law Patty Rutkowski; and her brother Marvin Messing.
She is survived by: her children, David (Ann Rutkowski), Don (LouAnne Rutkowski), Dale Rutkowski of Vassar, Deanna (Harold Ingram) and Darren (Tracy Rutkowski); her brother Dennis (Darlene Messing); and her sister-in-law Kathy Messing of Oxford. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
