He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Beardslee and Joye Beardslee (Sutherland); his sister Dorothy Sanchez; and his grandson Austin Hilligoss. He is survived by: his wife Judy Beardslee; his children, Julie Hilligoss (Mark), Shari Beardslee, Brent Beardslee and Darrin Beardslee (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Alyssa (David), Andrea (Elvis), Arika, Jeffrey, Alaina, Hayden, Camden, McKenna (Corey), Leyton, Sierra, Inman, Abrielle, Brenna and Bennett. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Howard's family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again at the school auditorium on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to a scholarship fund in Howard's name, c/o Judy Beardslee, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.
