He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Charles and Anna Mae Steele (Herzog). He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Mark Steele, Michael Steele (Ruth), Mitchell Steele (Kelli La Joie) and Michele Zawerucha (Thom); his grandchildren, Ryan Steele, Alexandra Steele, Kelsey Steele, Leah Zawerucha and Rachel Zawerucha; his siblings, Anna Mae McGrew (Dan) and Chuck Steele (Marie); and his nephews, Dana McGrew (Kristen), Dean McGrew (Julie) and Dan McGrew (Debbie).
Harry's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
