With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward John LaJoie of Caro, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond LaJoie and Ellen LaJoie (Walsh); his former wife Leah Piske; his in-laws, John, Emily Piske, Stanley and Geraldine Henry; his son-in-law Lynn Miller; his siblings, Walter LaJoie, Margaret Kemp (Chet), Bernice Bashton, Thomas LaJoie, Elaine Phillips (Ray), George LaJoie, Donald LaJoie (Barbara), Charles LaJoie and Roseanna Froede; and his brother-in-law Daryl Asay.
He is survived by: his children, Wade (Cheryl LaJoie), Dena (Eric Fellows) and Tonia (Doug McQueen); his wife Peggy; his children, Noel LaJoie of Caro and Brent LaJoie of Caro; his grandchildren, Chad LaJoie, LaShae Walker (Adam), Leah Cramer (Bill), Brandy Mahan (Mike), Joslynn West (Shane), Brent LaJoie (Brandi), Damien Fellows and Ethan Fellows; his siblings, Mary Asay, Robert LaJoie (Maxine) and Esther Smith (John L.); his sister-in-law Beverly LaJoie; and his pet Rosie. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
