He is survived by: his wife Marie Kennedy; his children, Frankie Payne (Val) of Gastonia, NC, Douglas Elliot of Trenton, Judy Aniol of Carleton, Kimberly Vollmerhausen and Mary Elliot of Battle Creek; his siblings, Larry Payne, Roger Payne, Helen Keen and Sue Turkall; and his friends, Johnnie Willis and Jim West. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great grand child.
