With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Van Stone of Carleton, Michigan, born in Newport, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Darwin Johnson and Margaret Johnson (Weatherholt); her husband Henry Van Stone; her son David Van Stone; and her sons-in-law, Michael Ferguson and Glenn Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Van Stone (Loretta), Walter Van Stone (Jo), Denise Van Stone, Renee Davidson (Doug), MaryAnn Miller, Robert Van Stone (Joyce) and Mark Van Stone (Amy); and her daughter-in-law Cathy Van Stone.
