It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Emil LaPlante of Carleton, Michigan, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil LaPlante and Seraphine LaPlante; and his sister Mary Carrier. He is survived by: his wife Fran; his children, Michael LaPlante (Paula), Susan Larson (Scott) and Wendy LaPlante (Dave); his grandchildren, Paige Larson, Cole LaPlante and Logan LaPlante; and his siblings, Alice Lidenmuth, Emil LaPlante, Barb Folco and Elizabeth Kloosterman (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
