He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Henry Vasquez and Vivian "Rita" McLaughlin (Allain); his stepfather Gordon McLaughlin; his sister Stella Engel; and his fathers-in-law, Ernest Prather and Francis Hoffman.
He is survived by: his significant other Laurie Bass; his children, Alex Vasquez (Nora) and Arielle Belanger (Eric); his stepsons, Bradley Bass (Nicole) and Kyle Bass; and his siblings, Dianna Vasquez of Flat Rock, MI, Marcie Baker (Dave) of Carleton, MI, Bea Franchetto (Rick), Louise Coch (Darryl) of Carleton, MI, Gordon "Butch" McLaughlin (Jill) of Finley, OH and Vivian Vasquez of Carleton, MI..
