It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Charles Light (Carleton, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth O. Light and Marion Light (Trombly); his brother Kenneth Light; and his sister-in-law Irene Light. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Light; his children, Dennis Allen Light (Katherine) of Monroe, Brian Richard Light (Susan) of Flat Rock, Eric Michael Light (Collette) of Warren, Maureen Therese DeCarlo (Lee) of Monroe and Sharon Marie Light of Livonia; his siblings, Carol Harris (Roby) of Fowlerville, Marion Light of Warren and Jim Light (Carol) of Fenton; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Nicole, Rachel, Sarah, Shannon, Vincent, Phillip, Natalie, Cortney and Allison. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
