He was predeceased by: his father Larry Apperson. He is survived by: his close friends, Duane, Cindy Lucio (Bell) of Carleton and Terri Podsaid of Taylor; his siblings, Bill Apperson (Mylisa) of Lexington and Ruth McKinney (Steve) of South Rockwood, Michigan; his nieces and nephews, Stevie, Jason (Autumn), Jon (Caitlyn), Jenna (Branson), Billy Apperson (Savvy) and Megan Oswald (Michael); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Levi, Tillman and Skylar.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for any donations to contribute toward funeral costs.
