With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Jean Moyer of Carleton, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis LaVigne and Marie LaVigne (Steiman); her husband Herman Moyer; her sons, Herman and Donnie; and her siblings, Betty, Joyce and Bob.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Mentel (Dan), Robert Moyer (Louise), Pamela Baker (Bill) and Scott Moyer (Renee); her daughter-in-law Brenda Moyer; her daughter Cheryl Ward; her sister Judy Trombley (Merlin); and her grandchildren, Alicia (Clinton), Steve (Karyn), Kimberly (Dave), Phil (Tricia), Emily (Brian), April (Ryan), Jeremy (Kyra), Matthew, Amanda, Jason (AnnMarie), Brian (Alexis), Amber (Rob), Madison, Cindy (Christopher), Michael, Jennifer West, Justin West and Joey Steffey (Rylie). She is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Merkle Funeral Service (2442 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
