He was predeceased by: his parents, Wheeler Roy and Lora Violet Eads (Eads); his sister Kathleen Knabusch (Eads); his grandson Richard A. McNeil Jr. (Chopper); and his wife Carmella Marie Volpi. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
