With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Dorothy Anderson of Carleton, Michigan, born in Trenton, Michigan, who passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Schafer and Dorothy Schafer (O'Brien); her husband Johnny Anderson; and her brother Russell Schafer. She is survived by: her children, Mark Anderson, Scott Anderson (Laura), Thomas Anderson (Jennifer) and Mandy Marut; her grandchildren, Max, Donovan, Casey, Kathryn, Olivia, Jillian, Rebekah, Samuel, Emma, Sarah, Ethan, Elijah, Ella and Elden; her siblings, Glen Schafer (Terry) and Doris Stonestreet; and her sister-in-law Sharon Schafer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (28320 Waltz Rd, New Boston, MI 48164). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church or Red Cross.
