We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2019, at the age of 90, Kermit R. Smallwood (Carleton, Michigan), born in Dorton, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Smallwood and Margie Smallwood (Dortha Cable); and his siblings, Chester, Charles, Herbert, Jim Jr., Guasta Reynold, Alka Fore, Sue Hacker and Donna Lee Smithy.

He is survived by: his spouse Dortha Cable; and his children, Jerry Smallwood, Dennis Smallwood (JoAnn), Ruth Ann Miles (Raymond) of Monroe and Shirley Brafford (Mark). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Promedica Hospice.
