Schafer of Carleton, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cuthbert and Helen Cuthbert (Gilday). She is survived by: her husband Larry S. Schafer; her children, Gregory R. Schafer (Claire) of Monroe, Beth S. Coyne (Kevin) of McLean, VA and Robert G. Schafer (Reta) of Brighton; her grandchildren, Callais, Bennett, Mairin, Emmett, Ellen, Patrick, Sydney and Blake; and her brothers, John Cuthbert (Cheryl) and Ronald Cuthbert.
