He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Newsome and Velma Newsome (Adkins); his stepson Thomas Richardson, II; his siblings, Ray Newsome (Jennie), Al Newsome (Mary) and Jennifer Welch; and also Howard Cosby.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Richardson (Cox); his stepdaughters, Lisa Richardson of Belleville and Michelle Bowman (Tom) of Sylvania, OH; his grandchildren, Felicia Sheldon, Logan Taylor, Remi Taylor Annabell Richardson, Summit Brower and Tommy Richardson, III; his siblings, Milfred Newsome (Maria) of Monroe, Doug Newsome (Dawn Metcalf) of Milan, James Newsome (Judy) of Carleton and Juanita Payette (Brian) of Lincoln Park; his nephew Charlie Stephenson (Monika); his niece Nikita Ritchie; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Roxy and Malia; his nephew Doug Newsome (Shawna); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma and Annabella; his nephew Keith Newsom (Angie); his niece Lisa Southard (Ben); his great-nephew Austin; his great-niece Brianna; his niece Heather Schemmin (Perry); his great-nieces, Julia and Sophia; and also Lukas.
