He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Walters and Lillian Walters (Miller); and his brothers, Donald and David. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Walters; and his children, John R. Walters Jr. (Debra), Charlie Walters, James Walters, Michelle Walters and Jackie Grassor. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
