He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Simmons (Brancheau); his brothers, Mark and Danny Simmons; and his father-in-law Aaron Mayes. He is survived by: his father Kenneth R. Simmons; his wife Dawn M. Simmons of Carleton, Michigan; his daughters, April Snider (Jason) of Tecumseh and Rachel Simmons of Monroe; his siblings, Laura Simmons of Florida, Linda Scott of Florida, Lisa Simmons of Monroe, Bruce Simmons of Maine and Mathew Simmons of Ohio; his stepmother Patricia Young-Simmons; and his grandchildren, Lauren Snider and Nickolas Craig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
