Janice A. Strimpel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2025, at the age of 84, Janice A. Strimpel of Carleton, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Jackson (Johnson) and Joseph Jackson; her husband Arthur; her son Francis; and her siblings, Janet Burger, Barbara Howe, Arthur Jackson, Thomas Jackson and John Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur II, Barbara, John, William (Julie), James (Tami), Shellie Haddix (Scott), George (Blair), Charles (Rebecca), Theresa and Edward (Christina); and her siblings, Gilbert Jackson (Roan), Russell Jackson, Leroy Jackson (Sherry), Bryan Jackson (Jewel) and Eldeina Perry. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Grace Parish - Carleton Email (2996 W Labo Rd, Carleton, MI 48117). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donation memorials in honor of Janice may be made to St. Patrick Catholic School.
