It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Nowitzke of Carleton, Michigan, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Sims and Marie Sims (Chinavare); her son-in-law Jeffrey Theisen; her brother Clayton Sims (Gene); and her siblings-in-law, Audrey Sims and Earl Duby.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Nowitzke; her children, Gary (Marguerite), Thomas (Lori), Larry (Janine), Lisa Bruck (Charles) and Bob (Donald Brady); her brothers, James Sims (Lynn) and Ronald Sims (Kathy); and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Young (Loren), Betty Duby and Bonnie Hoppert (George). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Patrick School or a charity of the donors choosing.
