“To Ida’s family I just found out today that my dear long time friend passed away. I talked to her about two weeks after chuck passed away. She did not call me to let me know till then. I was almost numb and we talked just a little while. I have been trying to reach her over the last few months. I sent cards and as a last attempt I sent her a Christmas present.
