He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Hakanson; and his wife Betty Hakanson. He is survived by: his grandchildren, April Hakanson (Jeffery Stiner) and David Hakanson (Denise); and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Emily (Josh), John, Rachel, Lauren, Sherry, Aaron and Ryan (Ravina).
