It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Vearl Moyer of Carleton, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vearl Moyer and Martha Moyer (Werstein); his sons, Donald Joseph and Herman Lewis Moyer; and his siblings, Magdelene Moyer, Helen Rankin, JoAnn Collins, Henry, Vearl Thomas and Benoit Moyer.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Lynn Mentel (Dan), Robert Moyer (Louise), Pamela Baker (Bill) and Scott Moyer (Renee); his daughter-in-law Brenda Moyer (Self-Declared); his daughter Cheryl Ward; his grandchildren, Alicia (Clinton), Steve (Karyn), Kimberly (Dave), Phil (Tricia), Emily (Brian), April (Ryan), Jeremy, Matthew, Amanda, Jason (AnnMarie), Brian (Kattye), Amber (Rob), Madison, Cindy (Christopher) and Michael; and his sister-in-law Judy Trombley (Merlin). He is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.
