Helen J. Rees Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen J. Rees (Carleton, Michigan), born in Antwerp, Ohio, who passed away on July 21, 2018 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rapai and Rose Rapai (Nagy); her spouse Wesley I. Rees; her son Ronald Rees; her son-in-law Mitchell Standifer; and her siblings, Rose Duff, Anna Clavier, Catherine Hammer and John Rapai.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Standifer (Bob VanderLugt) of Kalamazoo and Amy Pomaville (Robert) of Sterling Heights; and her sister Theresa Wegienka of Romulus. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Carleton United Methodist Church.
