He is survived by: his wife Jeri Lou Simpson; his children, Dan Simpson and Anne Simpson; his grandchildren, Zachary Howard (Emily), Jason Simpson (Kristen), Sarah Simpson (Mark Wilson), Chelsea Alexander (Adam) and Jaime Harrison (Jacob); and his sister Donna Speer-Bast (Kernon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
