He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kleinow Sr. and Della Kleinow (Gilstorff); his wife Julie Catheleen Collins; his grandsons, William Domine and Robert F. Cain II; and his siblings, Peral Kleinow and Fredrick Kleinow.

He is survived by: his children, Ricky Kleinow (Ruth Tubbs) of Monroe, Teresa Cain of Carleton, Julie Kleinow (Daryl Domine) of Monroe and Cora Lee LaRoy (Kris Kartje) of Carleton; his grandchildren, Kurt Kleinow (Melissa Carrol), Julie Andrews (Jeremy), Kimberlee Mainzinger (Mark), Christopher (Madeline Woodhouse-Abramoski), Corey Abramoski, Jamie Erickson (Cory), Brianna Vanover, Justin LaRoy, Elizabeth LaRoy and Jillian Bohr (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Alex, Layla Kleinow, Ryder Cain Erickson, Rylee Erickson, Emmett Mainzinger Carson Andrews and Connor Andrews; and his brother Harold Kleinow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Monroe County Relay for Life or to the Exeter Township Firefighters Association.
