Dobberstein of Carleton, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dobberstein and Eleanor Dobberstein (LaBo); his daughter Connie Niemi; his granddaughter Erin Dobberstein; and his brothers, William, Robert Dobberstein and Thomas Bischoff.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Meiring; his sons, Frank Dobberstein (Mary) of Monroe, Mark Dobberstein (Nelda) of Brentwood, TN and Michael Dobberstein (Gina) of Brentwood, TN; his sisters-in-law, Joan and Susan Dobberstein; his grandchildren, Jaime Dobberstein, Erica Murawski (Tony), Matthew Dobberstein (Jessica), Jordan Dobberstein (Dava), Anthony Dobberstein, Christopher Niemi, Maggie Dobberstein, Nicholas Niemi (Dana), Andrew Niemi, Anna Miller (Justin), Lauren Niemi and Alexandria Dobberstein; and his great grandchildren, Jaxson Dobberstein, Easton Dobberstein, Maverick Murawski, Blake Miller and Adelynn Niemi.
