He was predeceased by: his parents, Miller Shown and Ruth Shown (Kyle); and his brother Lewis Shown. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Shown; his son Andrew Shown; his stepsons, Mark Doyle (Megan) and Michael Doyle (Cortney); his siblings, James Shown, Richard Shown (Jeanine), Robert Shown (Darlene), Linda Holm, Connie Fuchs (Neal), Vicki Guinn (Larry), Debi Shown and Johnson; and his grandsons, Isaac Doyle, Max Doyle and Finnegan Doyle.
In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Carleton Airport Athletic Program.
