He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Cocherell and Opal Cocherell (Hefley); his sisters, Barbara Johnson and Charlotte Miller; and his daughter Patty Dean Doty.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Ford Cocherell; his daughters, Carla Nutt (Dave), Roxanna Cocherell and Tammy Foster; and his sisters, Faye Richardson and Brenda Schlipp (Al). He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a long list of loving nieces and nephews.
