It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Francis Mieden of Carleton, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Mieden and Cecelia Mieden (Cousino); his son Gregory Mieden; his parents-in-law, Gertrude and Merland Sontag; and his siblings-in-law, Allen Pearsall, Lavern Sontag and Barbara Eshenroder.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Mieden of Carleton; his children, Marcia Tanner (Dale) of Brooklyn and Dan Mieden (Kari) of Carleton; his sister Janet K. Pearsall of Maybee; his grandchildren, Lauren Miracle (Matthew), Stacie Sidney (Jeff), Lindsay Victor (Jon), Colin Mieden and Evan Mieden; and his great grandchildren, Chase Meier, Caden Miracle, Lyla Sidney, Brooks Sidney, Rowan Victor and Elliott Victor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Christ Lutheran Church, Shriners, or Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1138 Honor Guard.
