She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Poole and Delores Poole (Simmers); her husband Douglas Sampson; her brother David Poole; and her son-in-law Nathan Montney.

She is survived by: her children, Deanna Montney and David Sampson (Linda); her grandchildren, Alex (Alicia), Ian, Olivia (Danny) and Elizabeth; her nieces, Linda Logan and Sandy Lester (J. C.); and her cousin Yvonne Wilson.
