He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alcide and Doris (Erdman); his wife Cathy Wendt of Capac; and his children, Brian (Jessica) of Kentucky, Venus Dedenbach (Jim) of Capac, Ken of Richmond and Lawrence (Angela) of Chesterfield.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
