He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Hedlund and Dorothy Hedlund; his wife Rachel "Shelley" Vollen; his children, Christian, Nichole and Melissa; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Landen and Collin; and his sibling Beverly Vincent.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.
